A night recognising the future of the profession
The awards ceremony was held at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney on 1st October 2026, bringing together accounting and advisory firms from across the country. Competition in this year's category was strong, and the award was presented by the Institute of Financial Professionals Australia (IFPA).
The evening also featured a panel of industry experts discussing the future of the financial industry, from changing client expectations to the role of technology and AI in professional practice.
What the award recognises
Practice of the Year recognises the most innovative practice in the country: a firm that is adapting how it works to meet the accounting needs of its clients, and keeping pace with those needs as they change in the AI era.
